Intense black fruits of damson and black cherry are wrapped in super-fine tannins, with plenty of refreshing acidity and just a hint of oak. Unlike many Rosso di Montepulciano wines, this is not simply declassified Vino Nobile. Instead, Poliziano deliberately selected vineyards best-suited to producing a juicy, sumptuous, rich wine for immediate enjoyment. Made from 80% Sangiovese and 20% Merlot.
