A classic Gewürztraminer with hints of rose and white blossom aromas that give way to a delicate, dry finish. A wine like this, with spicy notes, makes a wonderful partner to spicy Asian cuisine. Cave de Turckheim is one of the top-performing co-operatives in the region. Set up in 1955, it now produces more than 50 wines. From aromatic whites to refreshing light-bodied reds, Alsace offers a wide range of styles. In the east of France and bordering Germany, Alsace is one of the driest regions of the country, being sheltered from the west by the Vosges mountain range. The climate and a spectrum of more than 20 soil types make it a particularly good location for growing vines.
