Indian Wells Cabernet is deliberately and unashamedly made in a ripe, velvety ‘New World’ style, making for the Ultimate Barbecue Red. It has rich, dark fruit aromas, with vital, intense flavours of macerated cherry, blackcurrant, vanilla and dried herbs. Fantastic depth and concentration, with gorgeously succulent texture. Around half of the grapes for this wine come from the Cold Creek Vineyard, which was established in 1972. Despite being Columbia Valley AVA, this site experiences no moderating effect from the river, leading to supremely ripe, concentrated fruit. The remainder of the fruit comes principally from Wahluke Slope and Horse Heaven Hills.
