Our most underpriced wine? Gorgeously plump and succulent, this could easily hail from the Napa Valley - from where you would expect to pay twice as much (or more) for this quality. It oozes pure blackcurrant and black cherry fruit, with woody, earthy, tobbacoey complexity around the edges. Rich and gratifying in the mouth, it is nevertheless finely-balanced with vibrant acidity and understated, velvety tannin. Fantastic, gentle sustain on the palate. This tastes like it could keep 10+ years, but it’s so delicious now, why wait? Fabulouas wine!
