From the famous Pinot Noir region of Central Otago, and made with exclusively organic fruit, this has aromas of luscious red cherries and red-fleshed plums, with hints of clove and allspice. Soft, ripe tannins provide good structure, which underpins a lovely fruit-forward style of Pinot. Fruit is hand-picked, and fermented using wild yeasts from the vineyard and winery. The wine is aged in barrels, of which only a limited percentage are new, to ensure preservation of the original fruit and vineyard characteristics.
