Pale silvery white appearance. Wonderfully complex mix of toasty oak with sumptuous, honeyed, rich-textured palate, beautifully balanced with fresh acidity. Every bit as classy as the red from this estate - delicious. Situated in Cadaujac, 200 metres from Château Bouscaut, Château Lamothe-Bouscaut is an old wine estate owned by Sophie Lurton and Laurent Cogombles. The house dates back to the 12th Century. Only one of Lamothe-Bouscaut’s nine hectares is planted to white grape vines, of which around 70% are Sauvignon Blanc and 30% are Sémillon. The vineyards are sustainably managed, and pruning is carried out by hand by 5 vineyard workers devoted to this small estate.
