Mt Difficulty single vineyard wines are a celebration of time and place. Pipeclay Terrace, planted in 1996 is an elevated terrace in the edge of the historic Bannockburn Sluicings rising from 250m to 265m with the inaugral release of this wine in 2002. Pipeclay Terrace’s unique personality has resulted in a Pinot Noir that is perfumed yet brooding with dark cherry aromas and uplifted floral violet notes. A rich mid-palate follows with flowing sinuous tannins on the finish that will reward cellaring for a further 7 to 15 years 14% Vol 750ml.
