Luscious aroma of cherries and rosehips, tinged with exotic lilies and alluring spice. Slight anise and leather character. Silky-soft, light texture yet complete and absolutely the way it should be. With bright acidity and very gentle tannin, this possesses the ethereal combination of delicacy, freshness and substantial intensity of flavour. Delicious. The vineyard name originates from the surrounding water bodies. Its greater exposure to the north, west and east limits the vigour of the vines, while the sandier soil reduces water stress compared to Ferrous and Haven. These factors combine to make the wine silken, perfumed and approachable when young, as well as having flavour concentration and ageing potential.
