A blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Merlot grapes which is matured for minimum 15 months in French oak, followed by 6 months ageing in the bottle. Ruby red appearance with a tendancy to garnet during aging over the years. Very intense and elegant with predominant floral notes, especially violets. Good acidity that extends drinking and enhances flavour with an excellent relationship between structure, tannin and freshness.
